Jesus Teaches About The Way To Heaven
Matthew 7:13-14
“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.
REFLECTION:
As I ponder today’s word, I understand that this is about the choices I make daily as well as the ultimate choice I make to follow you. I will also consider that choosing you doesn’t always seem easy, but you promised that choosing you brings life. I understand I have to trust you to choose what may not seem popular or comfortable at first. While destruction may sound drastic, it is only intended to show me that my choices impact my life.
APPLICATION:
I will pause and consider if the choice brings life or destruction. An indicator of destruction could be that many are on that path.
PRAYER:
Lord, help me to trust you with my choices. Help me to trust that when I choose you, I choose right and you will bring life to the situation that I confront, whether it is eternal life or choices in this life.
